Circus Spectacle follows a cast of performers through a fantastical, slightly eerie circus, ringmasters, aerialists, dancers and a skeleton magician, all building toward one grand finale. Illustrated in Krita, the series leans into dramatic lighting and a darker, more theatrical palette than a lot of the other illustration work, because this world was built to feel a little dangerous as well as dazzling. Each character was designed as part of a larger story, less individual portraits and more like stills from a show you'd want to actually watch. It's one of the more narrative-driven series in the collection, proof that illustration can build a whole world one character at a time.
