Nakheel wanted to capture the warmth and togetherness of Eid through a heartfelt animated piece. I designed a series of hand-sketched illustrated frames — from family gatherings and festive meals to beachside celebrations and "Eid Mubarak" greetings against an iconic Dubai backdrop — using a soft, pencil-drawn aesthetic with selective colour highlights to evoke a nostalgic, storybook feel for the campaign.

I designed a series of hand-sketched illustrated frames in a soft pencil-drawn style, made to look like a child's own drawings of their Eid day. Selective colour highlights were used to draw attention to special moments in between — a heart during a family gathering, festive string lights, or a pop of colour on a kite — as if recalling the parts of the day that stood out most. The sequence moves through a day of Eid: morning prayers against the Dubai skyline, sandcastle building on the beach, a festive family feast, and an "Eid Mubarak" greeting framed by an iconic archway, all tied together in an Instagram Reel format with a heartfelt caption from Nakheel.
