Book Haven is a community-driven app for book lovers, offering a personalised library, reading goals, and social features like book clubs and discussion forums. We designed a soft, immersive UI in dusty purples and warm gradients, creating a cozy digital reading nook that encourages discovery, tracking, and connection between readers.

We designed a soft, immersive UI in dusty purples and warm gradients, creating a cozy digital reading nook that encourages discovery, tracking, and connection between readers.
Book Haven set out to create a digital home for readers — a place that felt less like a transactional app and more like a personal library and community space. The concept focused on combining functionality (tracking, goals, recommendations) with an atmosphere that feels calm and inviting, encouraging users to spend time browsing, discovering, and connecting with other readers rather than just logging books.

I developed the full brand identity around a dusty purple and navy palette, anchored by an arched-window logo motif depicting a moonlit mountain view — a quiet nod to "a window into other worlds." This identity was extended across a complete stationery suite, including business cards, letterheads, envelopes, and notebooks featuring soft gradient skies, starry textures, and illustrated readers immersed in books. For the app, I designed a soft, immersive UI built around the same palette, featuring a personalised library dashboard with reading goals and shelves for currently reading, want-to-read, and completed titles, audiobook toggles, genre-based discovery, and social features like book clubs, discussion forums, and fan-base customisation.
